The Pull List – Week 49, 2010

Sorry for the sparse week (and lack of a pull list last week). Should have put up a place holder, but next year, I will be sure to have one a week, or something like that. Anyway, Wizard World Atlanta Comic Con and then a hectic week took up a lot of time. In my off time though, here’s what I’ve been into.

Comic List

A light DC week, even with me catching up over two weeks. Still, Thunder Agents is holding up as a story of wash ups taking their last chances as super heroes. Marvel’s offerings are mostly decent too, aside from a less-than impressive finish for Shadowland and an over-bloated Ultimate Spider-Man not entirely worth its cost if you know what you’re getting.

DC Comics

T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents #2

Marvel Comics

New Avengers #7

Shadowland #5 (of 5)

Thor #618

Ultimate Spider-Man #150

Watch List

Been playing catch up one a few series. Always enjoying the small town science center, USA that is Eureka on SyFy, and USA’s fake psychic detective show Psych is still going strong. Also finally got to see the very mediocre G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and the hilariously bad original Clash of the Titans. Most importantly, however, the Thor trailer is out, so enjoy.

Television

Eureka season 3

Psych season 3

Movies

Clash of the Titans (1981)

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

Plug List

In Comics: Invincible Iron Man #32

And of course you can hear me on this week’s latest CineGeek Webcast Episode 141: Son of a B@#ch! and find out how I came up with this week’s episode title.
