The Pull List – Week 50, 2010

Even on slow weeks of media consumption, this post keeps getting longer and longer. I need to figure out how to cut it down some, maybe just sticking with the best of the best, a top pick of the week, if you will. I might keep a true pull list feature of what comics I get each week, because I’d like to see people comment about what they get. I’ll get it worked out soon… eventually.

Comic List

Very slim week. Top pick has to be Dungeons & Dragons #2. Not quite as strong as the first issue, but it still maintains the game-like humor and feel. If you’re a D&D fan, you need to check this title out.

DC Comics

Superman #706

Marvel Comics

Black Panther: The Man Without Fear #513

Dungeons & Dragons #2

Watch List

This week has been about Tron: Legacy. I will have a review for it soon. Otherwise, slowly catching up in Kamen Rider OOO, and I dive back into anime fandom with Martian Successor Nadesico.

Tron: Legacy (review coming Monday or Tuesday)

Kamen Rider OOO ep 11

Martian Successor Nadesico ep 1-4

Listen List

Here’s something I probably won’t do too much, as I’m not too musically inclined. Still, with all the podcasts I listen to regularly, it would be easy to make it a regular on the Pull List. However, just as true with movies, one thing overshadows everything else: The Tron: Legacy album and Daft Punk’s spectacular job on it.

Tron: Legacy soundtrack

Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s The Lost Christmas Eve

Anime World Order #90

ANNCast Holiday Special II Part 1

The Bugle #138

The Greatest Movie Ever – Cage Rage: The Sorcerer’s Apprentice

TWIT #278

Plug List

On DVD: Nyan Koi!: Complete Collection

And of course you can hear me on this week’s latest CineGeek Webcast Episode 142: Tron Legacy Reviewed But Not Spoiled
